Taking the S9-500kVA dry-type transformer as an example, no-load loss + load loss = 6.06kW, the power consumed per hour is 6.06kWh.
Then according to the thermal power equivalent of 1 card (thermochemical card) = 4.1840 joules

No-load loss: When the secondary winding of the encapsulated dry type transformer is open, and the primary winding is applied with a rated voltage with a sinusoidal waveform of rated frequency, the active power consumed is called no-load loss.
Load loss: the variable loss. It is proportional to the square of the current passing through it. Load loss is the load loss at rated current and reference temperature. To expand, the so-called rated current means that the tap position of the primary side must be the main tap, not the rated current of other taps.
For the reference temperature, it depends on the heat resistance level of the insulating material of the dry-type transformer. For oil-immersed encapsulated dry type transformers, whether it is self-cooling, air-cooling or strong oil-air-cooling, all of them are Class A insulating materials, and the reference temperature is specified according to the traditional concept, which is 75 ℃.
