1. Regulating methods

There are two types of transformer regulation: non-excitation regulation and on-load regulation. Non-excitation regulation is also known as no-load regulation, is in the transformer stop running, without load state for regulating; on-load regulation is in the transformer running, with load state operation regulating. The regulating device without excitation is called an on-load tap-changer; the device with on-load regulation is called an on-load tap-changer.

2. On-load regulating position

Transformer on-load regulating positions are neutral point regulating, medium voltage line end regulating and high voltage coil line end regulating. Among them, the structure and process of neutral point regulation is relatively simple, and the application is also more.

3. On-load regulator switch
