4. Avoid installing low-voltage metering boxes on distribution dry-type transformers
The low-voltage metering box installed on the distribution dry-type transformer bench area should be gradually removed and replaced with indoor installation as much as possible. 5. Reasonably configure the high and low voltage fuses of the distribution dry-type transformer
The high- and low-voltage fuses of the distribution dry-type transformers have an unreasonable melt configuration, which is likely to cause severe overload of the distribution dry-type transformers and burn out the distribution dry-type transformers. High and low voltage melt configuration should follow: <1> Dry-type transformers with a capacity below 100kVA are configured with fuses with 2.0 to 3.0 times the rated current; <2> Dry-type transformers with a capacity above 100kVA are configured with 1.5 to 2.0 times the rated current. <3> The low-side fuse should be configured slightly larger than the rated current.
